National Crime Agency and Cyber Security Challenge UK team up to provide access to free online learning resource

Interactive exercises designed around the concept of protecting a fictional ‘CyberLand’ from a cyber-attack, are currently free to access – and in 2024 now with 23 activities! Latest are Intro to Malware 2, and Digital Cyber Challenge in a Box (CCIAB) plus improvements to the overarching Cyberland framework.

ITSA Digital Trust and Cyber Security Challenge UK

A 2024 donation from Cyber Security Challenge UK to The ITSA Digital Trust (previously known as IT Schools Africa) has helped to change the lives of 8,800 children in low-income schools in Malawi.

Funds from the Challenge were used to provide schools with an IT lab starter pack of 10 computers, alongside software and IT support.

This meant that children in these areas could experience IT facilities and digital teaching for the first time – offering life opportunities that simply weren’t there before.

Students in the schools, which previously had no funding for IT facilities, are now enjoying hands-on experience of using computers and software in ICT lessons for the first time.

The refurbished Windows 10 machines were sent by the ITSA Digital Trust
(ITSA) to Computers for Malawian Schools (CFMS) – which offers tech support and ongoing teacher training.

Next generation of cyber security professionals compete in national CyberCenturion final

On 26 February 2020, 60 CyberCenturions met at Plexal in London to compete for the title of CyberCenturion champion and the grand prize of a trip to the U.S.

Cyber Security Challenge UK and Northrop Grumman prepare to launch the next generation of cyber specialists with CyberCenturion VI

August, LONDON: On 2nd September 2019, registration will open for CyberCenturion VI, the internationally-recognised cyber competition designed to test the skills of the next generation and prepare them for a future career in cyber security. Cyber Security Challenge UK will once again be partnering with Northrop Grumman and the U.S. Air Force Association, to launch the annual competition.
