UK government survey into cyber security breaches - we would like your help

Published: 18/02/13

The department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) has commissioned PwC to carry out research into UK cyber security trends, so that businesses are aware of the threat and impact of cyber security breaches. This is the latest in the series of information security breaches surveys that has run since the early 1990s, and which PwC has managed since 2002. You can download the past reports from the PwC website.

The results of this survey will provide greater awareness amongst UK business of the risks, how companies are mitigating (or not) those risks and key trends.  It will also provide information to enable companies to benchmark themselves against others in their sector or beyond.

We'd like your help in completing the survey. To make it easy for people to complete, we've broken the survey up into a series of four online polls, each of which should take you only 5 minutes to complete. You can access them via the PwC website here.

This survey is being conducted in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct, which guarantees confidentiality and anonymity. Under no circumstances will your organisation be identified in the survey report.

In return for your participation, we are holding a prize draw for all those who complete the questionnaire with a prize of an iPad for the winner. There’s a separate prize for each questionnaire and an extra prize for people that complete all four polls, so complete all four polls for five chances to win. In addition, we’ll also send you an electronic copy of the survey results when they’re published in April.

Thanks for your help, we couldn't do this without you.
