What is Cyber Choices?

The Cyber Choices programme was created to help people make informed choices and to use their cyber skills in a legal way.

It’s a national programme co-ordinated by the National Crime Agency and delivered by Cyber Choices teams within Regional Organised Crime Units and Local Police Force Cyber Teams. We’re delighted to work with the NCA to deliver the next challenge to support this important initiative.

The aims of the programme are to:

• explain the difference between legal and illegal cyber activity
• encourage individuals to make informed choices in their use of technology
• increase awareness of the Computer Misuse Act 1990
• promote positive, legal cyber opportunities

Who can enter? How do you take part? 

• Anyone can take part, but you’ll need to be aged 11-18 to be eligible to win prizes
• The Winter Cyber Choices Challenge 2023 will run from 20 November until 17 December 2023
• Each week, a new challenge will be added as well as more prizes to be won
