How did you first get into the cyber security industry?
I was first introduced to Information Security through working for the UK Government at the tender age of 19. I’ve never known any different.
What do you love about working for Cyber Security Challenge?
It allows me to evangelise about the subject and feel like I’m making a difference. Because we’re a small team, I’ve also got involved in lots of new things.
What has been your most memorable Cyber Security Challenge highlight?
There are loads of great memories, but dinner at the House of Lords was amazing as we helped to raise funds for the National Museum of Computing in Bletchley Park.
What would you say to your 10 year old self?
Enjoy your studies and go with what your good at. Maths and physics are not just for boys, and don’t be shy about besting them at it!
What piece of technology can’t you live without?
The internet, can you imagine having to go back to book research again?!
